VEHICLE AUTO SHUT-OFF

The Vehicle Auto Shut-Off, when certain conditions are met, will turn the vehicle off automatically after 60 minutes. A timer appears on the Instrument Cluster approximately 30 minutes before it turns off automatically.

Quick Tips:

  • The timer that appears on the Instrument Cluster can be reset by pressing the OK button on the Steering Wheel.

Reminders:

  • The Auto Shut-Off feature automatically defaults to the on position each time the engine is turned off and restarted 
  • The system will activate when the vehicle is on and these conditions are met:
    – The vehicle is in (P) Park
    – The driver’s seat belt is unfastened
    – The driver’s door is opened

This feature may not be available on all Kia models.

Driving while distracted is dangerous and should be avoided. Do not attempt to change vehicle system settings while driving.
