There are several factors that contribute to your electric vehicle’s energy consumption, including maintenance of your vehicle, driving style, weather, durability of the battery and environmental conditions.
Below are tips to help reduce energy consumption:
Use Scheduled Climate settings to preheat or precool the vehicle while plugged in before driving
Keep your vehicle in good condition with regular maintenance
Don’t “ride” the brake pedal
Use the climate control system less often. Use the Driver Only setting
Keep tires inflated to the recommended pressure
Travel lightly, without carrying unnecessary weight in your vehicle
Ensure wheels are aligned correctly
Avoid placing large or heavy items on roof racks
Avoid hilly, winding or poorly maintained roads
