Remote Smart Parking Assist is designed to use the vehicle sensors to help park and exit parking spaces remotely.

To park with Remote Parking (from outside the vehicle), using the Smart Key:

1. While in the vehicle, with the vehicle stopped in front of the parking space, vehicle aligned, and the Gear Shift in Park, press and hold the Parking/View button
2. Operating instructions will be displayed on the Infotainment System screen. When ready, exit the vehicle
3. Press and hold either the Forward or Backward button on the Smart Key, depending on how you want to park, and the vehicle will move in the direction of whichever button you press
4. Press and hold the Remote Start button to turn off the vehicle

To exit a parking space remotely, when outside the vehicle and vehicle is off:

1. Press the lock button on the Smart Key
2. Press and hold the Remote Start button within four seconds to start the vehicle
3. Press and hold either the Forward or Backward button on the Smart Key, depending on how your vehicle is parked. The vehicle will move in the direction of whichever button you press
4. Release the button to stop the vehicle

To turn off RSPA at any point while it’s operating: press the Parking View button or Parking Safety button , press the Park button on the Gear Shift or press the Remote Start button on the Smart Key.

Warning Methods: To adjust the Warning Volume settings, go to VEHICLE SETTINGS, DRIVER ASSISTANCE and under WARNING METHODS, you can adjust the Warning Volume.
