Defrost Outside Windshield:

Set Fan Speed to the highest position; set Temperature to hot
Select Front Defrost position

Defog Inside Windshield:

Set Fan Speed to the desired position; Set desired Temperature
Select Front Defrost position

Air Flow Modes

To select Air Flow Modes, press the Mode buttons for the desired mode:

Quick Tips:

Defrost mode activates A/C and opens Fresh Air Vent to help dehumidify the air and improve Defroster performance
Keep inside glass as clean as possible to reduce window fogging
MAX A/C Mode automatically engages Recirculated Air

Reminders:

Warm air may flow in through vents if Recirculated Air button is not pressed ON (LED lit).
Continuous use of the climate control system in the recirculated air position may allow humidity to increase inside the vehicle which may fog the glass and obscure visibility
The maximum temperature shown, before HIGH is displayed, is 82°F
The minimum temperature shown, before LOW is displayed, is 62°F

This feature may not be available on all Kia models.
