Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) with Door Monitoring
The Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) with Door Monitoring can help alert the driver when ROA detects that a rear passenger may be left in the vehicle. When the front door is opened, after the rear door has been opened and closed and the engine has been turned off, an alert may appear on the Instrument Cluster stating “Check rear seats” 
, accompanied by a chime.
The factory default is set to ON. To turn the system ON or OFF, go to the Vehicle Settings on the Infotainment System, select Setup, Vehicle, Convenience, then enable Rear Occupant Alert.
Always be sure to check the passenger areas before leaving the vehicle.

When engaged, Rear Occupant Alert is not a substitute for one’s attention and may not detect all movement within the vehicle. Always check the vehicle interior when exiting the vehicle.
