Head-Up Display (HUD)*

The Head-Up Display is a semi-transparent display that is designed to project a snippet of information from the Instrument Cluster and navigation system* onto the windshield glass. To enable HUD, press the MODE button on the Steering Wheel to enter the User Settings* on the Instrument Cluster then press VEHICLE.

The HUD displays:

Turn By Turn (TBT) navigation information*
Road signs*
Speedometer
SCC set speed information
SCC Vehicle Distance information
Blind-spot Safety information*
Lane Safety information*
Highway Driving Assist information*
Lane Following Assist information*
Highway Auto Speed Change information*
Warning lights (low fuel)
AV mode information

Head-Up Display (HUD) Settings

Drivers can adjust the HUD settings from Vehicle Settings* in the Infotainment System. Press SETUP, VEHICLE and HEAD UP DISPLAY.

The HUD displays:

Display Height: Adjust the height of the HUD image on the windshield glass
Rotation: Adjust the degree of HUD rotation
Brightness: Adjust the intensity of the HUD brightness
Contents Selection: Activate or deactivate HUD content
Displaying options for Turn by Turn, Driving Convenience, Blind-spot Safety, Radio/Media Info

Reminders:

The HUD image on the windshield glass may not be visible in these cases:

If the driver has poor sitting posture
If the driver is wearing polarized sunglasses
If there is an object covering the HUD
When driving on a wet road
When there is excessive lighting inside or outside the vehicle
If there are modifications made to the windshield, such as tinting or other aftermarket treatments. When replacing the front windshield glass of vehicles equipped with the HUD, owners must replace it with windshield glass designed for HUD operation. Otherwise, duplicated images may be displayed on the windshield glass
If TBT navigation information is selected as HUD content, TBT information will not be displayed on the LCD

The Head-Up Display is a supplemental function. Do not solely rely on the function, always drive safely, and pay attention to the driving conditions on the road.
