Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist is designed to detect a vehicle, a pedestrian, powered 2-wheeler or a cyclist ahead on the road and may, in certain circumstances, warn the driver of a possible collision with a warning message on the Instrument Cluster and a warning sound.

FCA may also assist with braking the vehicle to potentially reduce the effects of a collision. If FCA detects that the collision risk has increased, it may automatically apply the brakes to help avoid the risk of collision.
With the turn signal on, if it detects a potential collision, Junction Turning
may help to avoid or reduce the risk of a collision with an oncoming vehicle in an adjacent lane when turning left by applying emergency braking.
