SUNROOF OPERATION

The sunroof operation is controlled through a multidirectional switch. The ignition or ENGINE START/STOP button needs to be in the ON position to operate the sunroof.

To slide the sunroof glass and sunshade:

Manually slide the sunshade open and closed by hand.

To tilt the sunroof glass:

Quick Tips:

  • To stop the sunroof/sunshade at any position, push or pull the sunroof control switch in any direction.
  • While driving with the rear windows down or with the sunroof in an open or partially open position, a wind buffeting or pulsation noise may be heard. This noise is a normal occurrence and can be reduced or eliminated by partially lowering both front windows or partially closing the sunroof

Reminders:

  • If the sunroof is open when ignition is turned off (Smart Key), ignition key removed or the driver’s door opened, a warning will sound and display on the Instrument Cluster 
  • The sunshade cannot be closed while sunroof is open 
  • Do not adjust the sunroof glass or sunshade while driving. This could result in loss of control of the vehicle
