Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA2) is designed to help detect vehicles and lanes ahead, and may, in certain situations, help maintain distance from the vehicle detected ahead, maintain the set speed, and keep the vehicle between lanes while driving on the highway or motorway.

When HDA2 is activated and the conditions are met, the Instrument Cluster indicator will illuminate green. If the conditions are not met, HDA2 will be in standby mode and the indicator light will illuminate gray. When in operation, and if both lanes are recognized, the Instrument Cluster will show the lanes illuminated white and the HDA2 indicator illuminated green .

If the driver takes their hands off the Steering Wheel for several seconds, a warning message will appear on the Instrument Cluster, and an audible warning will sound. If hands on the Steering Wheel is not detected, HDA2 will cancel.

Highway Lane Change Assist is designed to assist in changing lanes if the turn signal is on and if the lane change is possible.

• When ready, the indicator may illuminate green on the Instrument panel, blinking while it’s operating. The lane markers will also illuminate green
• When in standby mode, the indicator will remain gray
• The indicator will blink white when operation is cancelled
• To cancel Highway Lane Change Assist, return the signal lever back to a neutral position

Only adjust settings when the vehicle is at a standstill, gear shift is in Park and the ignition is on or the ENGINE START/STOP button is in the ON position.

HDA2 can be turned on/off by going to the Vehicle Settings in the Infotainment System:

• Press the SETUP key or the onscreen SETUP button.
• Press VEHICLE to enter Vehicle Settings.
• Select DRIVER ASSISTANCE
• Then select DRIVING CONVENIENCE, and select HIGHWAY DRIVING ASSIST to activate.
• You can also turn on HIGHWAY LANE CHANGE ASSIST.
