Heated Steering Wheel

Press the Heated Steering Wheel button to turn the steering wheel heater on or off when the Engine Start/Stop button is in the ON position.

Press the button once to activate Level 1, press it again to activate Level 2, and press it a third time to turn the system off.

When operating at Level 2, the steering wheel heater will automatically turn off after 30 minutes.

Quick Tips:

  • If ignition is cycled, the Heated Steering Wheel turns OFF. Press button again to turn ON.
  • If ignition is turned OFF, then ON again within 30 minutes with the Steering Wheel Heater left ON, the heater may turn ON.
  • With the heated steering switch in the ON position, the heating system in the steering wheel turns OFF or ON automatically depending on the steering wheel temperature

Reminders:

  • If the steering wheel becomes too warm, turn the system off. The heated steering wheel may cause burns even at low temperatures, especially if used for long periods of time.

This feature may not be available on all Kia models.
