REAR VIEW MONITOR (RVM)*

Rear View Monitor (RVM) is a supplemental system that displays the view behind the vehicle through the infotainment system screen while the vehicle is in Reverse. 

To turn RVM on/off, press the Parking/View button on the center console.

RVM Settings:

To access Camera Settings - Press and hold the MODE button on the Steering Wheel. You can also press the SETUP key or the onscreen SETUP button. Press VEHICLE to enter Vehicle Settings. Select Driver Assistance, Parking Safety, then Camera Settings

The Rear View Monitor activates when the:

Reminders:

  • While camera is active, only the Infotainment System can be operated on the Steering Wheel and Infotainment System. All other features are disabled 
  • Adjusting the Warning Timing and Warning Volume may adjust timing and volume levels for other driving assist systems 
  • Through normal use and after inclement weather or washing, the rear camera may become dirty. Use a clean, microfiber cloth to remove any dirt, debris or spots that may have accumulated on the lens

When engaged, RVM is not a substitute for proper and safe backing-up procedures. Rear View Monitor may not display every object behind the vehicle. Always drive safely and use caution when backing up.
