Intelligent Speed Limit Assist is designed to display the information from the posted speed limit and the navigation system to inform the driver of the speed limit.
When ISLA is on and active, the system will display an alert on the Instrument Cluster of the detected speed limit. If the vehicle’s current speed exceeds the detected speed limit, a warning will sound and the vehicle’s current speed will blink on the LCD.
To enable ISLA:
There are 3 ways to adjust the settings:
and warns the driver when the vehicle is traveling faster than the posted speed limitSpeed Limit Offset: Allows you to determine the speed limit offset preferred before ISLA engages
Auto set speed change: If the set speed is set to the current speed limit during SCC or MSLA operation, the set speed is changed automatically whenever the speed limit changes on roads with a speed limit on above 45 mph
