KIA CONNECT ACTIVATION*

Follow these steps to activate your Kia Connect system:

  1. To enter the activation screen on the Infotainment System:
    • Press the SETUP key from the touch panel
    • Press DATA/NETWORK
    • Under Kia Connect, press ACTIVATE SERVICE and then press AGREE
  2. Read and agree to Terms of Service and Privacy Policy then press AGREE
  3. Enter phone number or email address to receive a verification code, then press SUBMIT
  4. On your smartphone, click on the link provided by text message or email and a page will open requesting you create an account
  5. If you have an account, enter the password to log in. Otherwise, provide the information needed to create the account
  6. A page will open displaying your verification code. Enter this code on the Infotainment System screen. Press SUBMIT, then OK again
  7. On your phone, go back to the page with your verification code and press I HAVE ENTERED MY VERIFICATION CODE and a link will be provided to download the Kia Access App. After installing the app, log in to access the Kia Connect features

Note: If you already have a Kia Owners Portal account using the email or phone number as your login ID, you will need to provide your password prior to receiving the verification code.

Reminders:

Map updates for the navigation system can be updated by going to update.kia.com. Updates are generally available twice a year.
