Lane Keeping Assist (LKA)
Lane Keeping Assist is designed to detect the lane markers on the road, with a front view camera on the windshield, and may assist the driver’s steering to potentially help keep the vehicle in the lane.
When turned on, the Instrument Cluster indicator 
will initially illuminate white or green.
It will remain white when the vehicle is traveling slower than 40 mph. When LKA can assist the steering, the Lane Safety icon will illuminate green.
When LKA detects the lane markers, both lanes are displayed white. When LKA does not detect the lane markers, the lanes are displayed gray (shown below).
When LKA detects that the vehicle is moving outside the lane, a yellow lane marker will illuminate on the corresponding side of the lane. The Lane Departure indicator will also illuminate green to indicate that LKA is active (shown below).
If LKA detects that you are moving outside of your lane, LKA may give an auditory warning and display Lane Departure Warning on the Instrument Cluster, or, LKA may provide steering inputs, trying to prevent the vehicle from moving outside its lane.
If the driver takes their hands off the Steering Wheel for several seconds, a warning message will appear on the Instrument Cluster.
LKA will operate under the following conditions:
- The vehicle speed exceeds approximately 40 mph
- The vehicle is between the lane markers
Press and hold the Lane Driving Assist button 
to turn LKA on or off, when it is first enabled in Vehicle Settings in the Infotainment System.
Only adjust settings when the vehicle is at a standstill, gear shift is in Park and the ignition is on or the ENGINE START/STOP button is in the ON position.
To enable LKA in the Vehicle Settings:
- Press the SETUP key or the onscreen SETUP button.
- Press VEHICLE to enter Vehicle Settings.
- Select DRIVER ASSISTANCE, DRIVING SAFETY then LANE SAFETY.
Quick Tips:
The Warning Volume can be adjusted in the Vehicle Settings by pressing Setup, Vehicle, Driver Assistance. Then press Warning Method. You can also adjust the Haptic Warning, Lane Safety Audible Warning Off.
Reminders:
- LKA will not issue a warning if the turn signals or hazard lights are activated
- When the ignition is cycled, LKA will return to the previously set state
