Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA)*

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist is designed to detect a vehicle, a powered two-wheeler, a pedestrian, or a cyclist ahead on the road and may warn the driver of a possible collision with a warning message on the Instrument Cluster  and a warning sound.

If FCA detects that the collision risk has increased, FCA may automatically brake or steer the vehicle to reduce the risk of collision .Junction Turning function / Junction Crossing is designed to detect a potential collision and may help to avoid a collision with an oncoming vehicle in an adjacent lane when turning left with the turn signal on or when crossing an intersection, by applying emergency braking.

Lane-Change Oncoming function - may help avoid a possible collision with a detected oncoming vehicle when changing lanes by assisting the driver’s steering

Lane-Change Side function - may help avoid a possible collision with the vehicle detected ahead in the next lane when changing lanes by assisting the driver’s steering

Evasive Steering Assist function - may help avoid a possible collision with a vehicle, pedestrian or cyclist detected ahead in the same lane. When a risk of collision is detected, Evasive Steering Assist function will warn the driver and if the driver steers to avoid collision it may assist the driver’s steering.
