Rear View Monitor displays the area behind the vehicle to assist when parking or backing up.
Rear View Monitor activates when the Engine Start/Stop button is in the ON position, and the gear shift lever is in the R (Reverse) position.
RVM activates when the:
If Extended Rear View Monitor is enabled in the settings, RVM will remain on when shifting from R (Reverse) to N (Neutral) or D (Drive), until the vehicle exceeds approximately 6mph, or by pressing the Parking/View button
or the gear shift is moved into P (Park).
If Rear View Parking Guide Lines is enabled, the top view parking guide lines will be displayed.

Rear View Monitor is not a substitute for proper and safe backing-up procedures. Rear View Monitor may not display every object behind the vehicle. Always drive safely and use caution when backing up.
